Chairman Wu Bo held a discussion with the Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences(ASIPP)

On the morning of May 17, 2022, Wu Bo, chairman of Anhui Weimai OME Technology Co., LTD, led a team to the Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences(ASIPP).Zha Sheng,deputy general manager of Weimai.Wu yan manager of Beijing branch.  Philipp Shan,assistant general manager follow chairman Wu attend the meeting.Professor Zhang Qiyong, director of cryogenic Engineering and Technology division of ASIPP.Associate Professor Zhou Zhiwei, Secretary of cryogenic Engineering and Technology division of ASIPP.And Kong Defeng,director of Institute of Energy research and Development Office of Energy Research Institute,and other extended gave warm welcome to Chairman Wu Bo .

At the beginning of the meeting, Philipp Shan introduced the company's development history and five product systems based on four application scenarios of "high temperature, low temperature, high pressure and corrosion resistance". Then, Wu Yan reported and explained the practical application of the company's products in the field of low temperature and the future development prospect. Finally, chairman Wu Bo made a brief explanation of the company's core technology, past performance and the early docking with the Energy Research Institute.

Professor Zhang highly affirmed the achievements made by Weimai OME,he said: cryogenic Engineering and Technology division of ASIPP is in the leading position in helium cryogenic research field in China. In response to the national hydrogen energy development goal during the“14th Five-year”Plan period, the Cryogenic Laboratory is committed to tackling the related technical bottlenecks in the field of hydrogen energy, realizing the transfer of research achievements in helium cryogenic field to hydrogen cryogenic field, and making breakthroughs in the storage, transportation and refueling of liquid hydrogen. Through years of aerospace work, Weimai has core advantages in low temperature, high pressure, high temperature and corrosion resistance. Both sides can carry out in-depth cooperation in the future to realize resource and platform sharing, r&d and production complementarity.At the end of the meeting, Kong Defeng, director of research and Development Department of Energy Research Institute, made a summary speech. The three parties had an in-depth exchange on the research and development and application direction of the proposed cooperation and reached a preliminary cooperation intention.

cryogenic Engineering and Technology division of ASIPP is known to be established in 1994 and developed based on the construction of the cryogenic system of the HT-7 superconducting tokamak fusion device. The laboratory has China's largest helium cryogenic system "EAST superconducting tokamak cryogenic system" and two sets of Russian-made helium refrigeration machines, helium storage capacity of nearly 10,000 standard cubic meters, liquid nitrogen storage capacity of 60 cubic meters and has 10,000 liters of liquid helium dewar.

The laboratory is mainly responsible for the operation and maintenance of the large-scale helium cryogenic system of the Oriental Super Ring (EAST) Tokamak device of the National Science and Engineering, and is engaged in research on cryogenic engineering and technology. The main research directions are the design and optimization of large and medium-sized helium cryogenic systems, the design and research of large and medium-sized helium chillers, the cooling and testing technology of supercritical helium forced flow of low-temperature large-scale superconducting magnets, the low-temperature measurement and control technology, the design and research of key low-temperature equipment and the low-temperature technology in fusion devices.
