How to solve the leakage problem of special valves:
1. Method of adding sealing grease
For the electric control valve without sealing grease, consider increasing sealing grease to improve the sealing performance of the valve stem.
2. Method of adding filler
In order to improve the sealing performance of the packing to the valve stem, the method of adding packing can be adopted. Usually in the form of double-layer and multi-layer mixed fillers. Simply increase the number, for example, from 3 to 5. The effect is not obvious.
3. Substitute graphite filler method
As the operating temperature of the tetrafluoroethylene packing used in large quantities is within the range of - 20 ~ 200, when the upper and lower temperature values change greatly, its sealing performance will be significantly reduced, aging is fast, and its service life is short. Flexible graphite filler can overcome these shortcomings and has a long service life. Therefore, some valve manufacturers have changed polytetrafluoroethylene packing to graphite packing, and even newly purchased control valves have changed polytetrafluoroethylene packing to graphite packing.
4. Change the flow direction and place P2 at the end of the valve stem.
When p is large and P1 is large, it is obviously more difficult to seal P1 than P2. Therefore, the method of changing the flow direction can be used to change P1 at the valve stem end to P2 at the valve stem end. It is more effective for valves with high pressure and large differential pressure.
5. Adopt lens gasket sealing method.
For the sealing of the upper and lower covers, the sealing between the valve seat and the upper and lower valve bodies, if it is a planar seal, the sealing performance is poor at high temperature and high pressure, resulting in leakage. Lens gaskets can be used for sealing, and satisfactory results can be obtained.
