What is the outer diameter of the bellows accumulator

Time: July 15, 2022
The outer diameter of the bellows accumulator can be advantageously selected to be smaller than the distributable inner diameter of the accumulator shell, so as to form a plurality of Subspaces in the fluid space, and the subspace as a whole forms a hydraulic buffer of the fluid. Advantageously, the sealing device can be arranged on the closed part between the guide device and the cover. In addition, the end position of the bellows can be separated opposite to one end position, and the folded parts of the bellows are completely against each other. In essentially known ways, the bellows accumulator housing can be wrapped to improve its pressure stability. This wrapped part is called lining in technical terms and can be formed of glass fiber composite materials.
The bellows accumulator has an integrated accumulator shell, which has two shell parts made of titanium, one of which is the main shell part and the other is the closed shell part. There is a tank shaped, cylindrical, inner space and cap shaped arched tank bottom. The tank bottom is closed except for the central fluid connection. The closed part has the shape of a hemispherical shell. Except for the filling opening coaxial with the longitudinal axis of the shell, the closed part is closed.
The main part and the closed part of the bellows accumulator are welded together at the welding line along the end edges facing each other. In the cylindrical internal space, the separation bellows in the form of metal bellows is accommodated between the welding line and the bottom of the tank. As is common in bellows used in bellows accumulators, bellows are made of stainless steel,
On the other free end opposite to the open end of the bellows connected to the retaining ring, the internal space of the bellows leading to the gas side passes through and is closed by the closing member made of stainless steel, which is fixedly welded with the opposite end of the bellows. The closure has a circular shell structure formed on the outer circumference of the shell from the open shell edge, a guide device and a sealing device connected to the guide device, wherein the guide device has a surrounding annular groove at the shell edge, and the guide ring in the form of a flat ring is contained in the annular groove. The sealing device has an annular groove, which is arranged axially towards the tank bottom from the annular groove of the guide device, and is staggered radially inward. The seal is contained in the annular groove, and the closing member is closed by the cover on the lower side connected with the lower annular groove.
The flat ring of the guide ring forming the guide device of the bellows accumulator in the annular groove has the function of guiding the folded part of the bellows along the inner wall when the end position moves outward, while maintaining the reserved gap between the tip of the bellows and the wall of the shell in the internal space. Therefore, the guide ring is made of plastic materials with good sliding performance, such as polytetrafluoroethylene. In order to form a passage space on the circumference of the flat ring so that the fluid can enter the internal space surrounding the bellows from the fluid interface, a contraction area is formed on the circumference of the flat ring between the guide bodies as a passage space, and the guide body is pressed against the wall of the shell as a guide seat. Therefore, during operation, the internal space around the bellows forms part of the liquid side.
